Hooked

Cast your line into the stunning, turquoise waters of a coral reef in Hooked, a relaxing yet thrilling top-down fishing adventure. As a lone fisherman, you'll explore four charming stages and attempt to catch sixteen unique fish. With its lo-fi charm and original gameplay, Hooked offers a wholesome atmosphere with chill vibes.

Casting Off: Mastering the Fishing Mechanics

Hooked! is a casual arcade fishing simulator controlled entirely with the mouse. To begin, hold the left mouse button to start casting, observing the bar at the bottom to gauge your cast strength. Release the button to cast your line. When a fish bites, click the left mouse button to set the hook.

Reeling in your catch requires finesse. A red meter at the top indicates line tension – if it gets too high, your line will snap. The green meter at the bottom represents the fish's energy level; if this reaches maximum, the fish will escape. Move the mouse to control your rod and guide the arrow. Hold the left mouse button to reel in, releasing it to stop. Reel in while pulling in the opposite direction of the fish to deplete its energy and secure your catch.

Mouse in Hand: The Only Control You Need

  • Release Left Mouse: Cast the line.
  • Click Left Mouse: When you get a bite.
  • Move Mouse: Move your rod.
  • Hold Left Mouse: Reel in the line.
  • Release Left Mouse: Stop reeling.
