Doodle Jump
Doodle Jump is a vertically scrolling platformer where you guide a small, four-legged creature called the Doodler as it bounces upward from platform to platform. Originally released as a mobile game in 2009, Doodle Jump became a cultural phenomenon with its simple mechanics, hand-drawn visual style, and endlessly addictive gameplay. The browser version delivers the same experience without requiring any download.
The Doodler bounces automatically when it lands on a platform. Your job is to tilt or move it left and right so it lands on the next platform above. Green platforms are solid, brown ones break on contact, white ones move horizontally, and blue ones disappear shortly after you touch them. As you climb higher, you encounter springs that launch you extra high, propeller hats and jetpacks that carry you upward, and monsters that end your run if you land on them from above or collide from the side.
Play Doodle Jump unblocked in your browser using the left and right arrow keys to control the Doodler's horizontal movement. The game has no finish line. You climb as high as possible, and your score reflects how far you get. Falling below the bottom of the screen ends the game. The wrapped edges mean moving off the left side of the screen brings you out on the right, and vice versa.
High scores in Doodle Jump come from collecting power-ups and avoiding unnecessary risks. Prioritize springs and jetpacks whenever they appear, as they skip large sections of increasingly dangerous platform arrangements. Shoot monsters (by tapping/clicking) rather than trying to bounce on them, which is risky. As you climb higher, platforms become sparse and the gaps grow wider, making every landing more critical. Doodle Jump is one of those games where the first run takes 30 seconds and the tenth run takes 30 minutes, because the addictive loop of "just one more try" is irresistible.
