Spades
Spades is a fun and common game for two people to play together while taking tricks. Since points are the primary currency in this game, amassing a large score is the ultimate goal. In Coppercod's version of this traditional card game, you and one of our partnered AIs will face off against other players.
You and your companion can win if you can reach 500 points before anyone else. Partners earn points when they win tricks and when they accurately forecast the number of tricks they will win during the bid round. We will deduct points if your partnership fails to win the number of tricks bid.
As you play against AI opponents with impeccable memory, Spades is easy to learn but difficult to master. Pick between simple and hard modes, and keep tabs on your session and overall statistics to see how you're doing as you get better!
How To Play
- Spades is a traditional partnering game for four players that uses a single conventional 52-card deck.
- Being the first partnership to 500 points is the goal of the game.
- The number of tricks each partnership has amassed after each round determines how many points they receive. If the partnership bid is matched or bettered, 10 points are awarded for each trick collected; if the partnership bid is not matched, 10 points are subtracted for each trick bid.
